Kumar Industries was started as a Proprietary concern in 1981 at Strahans Road, Chennai by S.R.Arumugham,B.E,DIIT, after having worked as a Scientist at CVRDE, (DRDO) Avadi, Chennai. In 2001 the unit was shifted to Mogappair Industrial area, Chennai- 37, to expand further. In 2005 the second unit was started at Ayanambakkam, Chennai-95 with the change of constitution as Partnership Firm inducting A.Muthukumar after establishing a modern Press shop with the state of the art Mechanical and Hydraulic Power Presses. In 2008, the third unit was started at SIPCOT Industrial Estate, phase II, Hosur to expand further.
We are one of the preferred suppliers to M/s Ashok Leyland Ltd, Ennore and M/s Wabco India Ltd,Ambattur for the past several years for supplying sheet metal pressed components.
